Dear Respected Recipient,

Please do permit me to share this mail with you. We will be honoured if you will please take a wee bit of time to review this mail as well as please peruse the attached letter, which explains HOW UMT actually works; our beliefs; our values and what we want to achieve !

Our 8th Unity Camp at Jaffna will be our 25th Milestone Event, since May 2009. We now have 6500 youth linked into us. Some may even pose a query asking what is different in yet another programme ?
What we want to share with you is that we have real stories of results from 6 years of hard work ! -- stories of unity,of building bridges and of hope !

If Jaffna students can get into the train and attend a funeral at Matara; If we have Regional Leaders who had leadership capacity to RUN programmes; If Regional Leaders from Jaffna, Elpitiya, Matara, Vavuniya, Mannar, Colombo and Ambalangoda can talk to each other and make most of the ground arrangements for our Next Camp, then all of us at UMT have done wonders for our Beloved Sri Lanka !!
We are DEEPLY honoured that schools registering for Unity Camp 8 include for the first time applications from Thambuttegama, Medawachchiya, Eppawala, Ginigathhena, Rikiligaskada, Polonnaruwa, Anuradapura, Poramadulla, Badulla, Hanguranketha in addition to "traditional" areas from across the south, from all across the entire Northern Province and from Kegalle, Kandy/ Katugastota , Bandarawela and Ratnapura.

This is all possible because PEOPLE such as YOU, the addressees of this mail, have CARED about our work and have supported us financially, to meet the cost of our Investment in Sri Lanka's future. We have results to show ENTIRE Sri Lanka of actual grassroots unity, integration and healing achieved due to bridges of friendship built up across 24 past programmes since 2009. We also inculcate values in our Youth, mindset development and we educate on prevention of addiction & abuse.
