Dear Respected Recipient,

Please do permit me to share our joy of working with youth and a few visuals with you of, possibly, two of the most successful of UMT's 23 programmes since May 2009!
ALL of our Programmes build up leadership and positive mindsets as a basis for fostering unity, integration, healing & reconciliation. UMT HAS continually evolved and developed since we commenced in May 2009- and since January 2015, UMT includes sessions on drug & alcohol addiction, dangers of pornography ( proliferating due to sophisticated mobile devices), sexual rights and prevention of sexual abuse.
These sessions are very well received by students. We had students openly thanking us saying that no one talks to them on these topics the way our speakers do. // Unity Mission Trust is very grateful to the Minister of Education of the North for his approvals and encouragement;the Education Ministry of the Northern Province, Mullaitivu Zonal Director and officials for ground level assistance and to the Sri Lanka Army for their practical support with all that we do to build up young people.
Thank you VERY SPECIFICALLY to all those of you who supported us financially and with your prayers. Without this, we cannot succeed.
We considered our Programmes at Udayarakaddu and Chillavathai as being very meaningful based on the feedback given to us. We invited 10 young people at each location to join with UMT to strengthen our grassroots work in the area and to help build Sri Lanka ......we had 38 and 46 volunteers, coming forward and committing themselves to work over the long term with us. This acceptance of UMT by Northern Youth, means much to us !
Thank you for being with and supporting UMT ! We have worked since May 2009, sharing a message of love; of equality; and that all youth are the Treasure of Sri Lanka. We have invested time and energy inspiring our Youth, because our Nation's future success depends on them - and because we love Sri Lanka !
